This rug has been designed for indoor use only. While we do recommend a rug pad for hard floors, one is not included.

This is my second purchase on The Rug Collective, the first had too many cool grey tones for my space, so I did the exchange option. That process was super easy, I wasn't charged shipping for sending the first one back or charged shipping for having the new one sent which was GREAT because I live in AK and shipping is crazy.
Not only am I super thrilled with the customer service, but I am SO in love with this rug. There are so many warm and earthy tones that it feels like it would work with any future bedding color patterns. The distressed option really helps it fit into a room more easily because it takes the bold colors down in areas, and having a rug that has all of those colors without being overwhelming was my top priority. There are a lot of really pretty olive-green tones in the midst of the terracottas, blues, and rusts and it all just combines so beautifully.
Along with the coloring of the rug, the quality is awesome. We used the pad that goes with it, and once we had the rug stretched to cover the pad, the sort of clingy nature of both the rug and pad made it stay in place.
I can't recommend this rug enough. It's seriously gorgeous. For size reference, it's an 8'8 x 12 under a king-size bed. This rug addition has me super excited to continue redoing our bedroom!
Very happy with this rug. It has many earthy undertones. It does fade out very much for half of the rug, which suits fine for our needs given a couch sits overtop of the faded part.
This rug “Sophia” was my second purchase. I must admit I studied the pictures of this rug and was hoping for a rug more like what was pictured. The colours are too washed out, all over, not just in one area, a result of trying to achieve the artistic distressed look but not quite getting it right. Instead there are no rich coloured areas left just pinkish and baby blue. The first rug I purchased, the “Kendra Ash” is the same… I still loved it but it is far too faded than in the pictures or what it should have been….losing the artistic part of the vintage look that is so well pictured on the website. Also now that I’ve had it for 6 months it is not wearing well at all (sadly) especially where it is overly distressed, fibers are too worn. Lots of pilling and pulls and fuzz coming off. It was overly washed out to the point you can hardly see the beautiful pattern or colour. . I think the people making these rugs in Turkey are not capable of replicating the look the designers intended. It is a bit of a hit and miss…. I’m sure some are gorgeous that they get right.
Looks great, feels great! My daughter spilled apple cider on it and it was easy to wipe up. Haven't had to put it through the wash yet, but with 2 kids, a dog, and a cat, I take great comfort knowing if I need to, I can just throw this sweet rug in the washing machine! Shipping was fast too. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Love this rug! I have a baby who was premature and a husband who is allergic to dogs, cats and wool so finding a rug that was family friendly, didn’t “shed” or give my husband hives on his ankles, and I could throw in the wash, while still looking stylish in the main living space of our home was not something I thought I’d be able to do!! But I love this rug!!
Aside from above, I love that I don’t have to overcommit to a certain style/colour or pattern, I can get multiple rug collective rugs and switch it up as needed!
I haven’t washed it yet, but I hope it holds up as well as I expect it to!
The only thing is I need a rug pad for it.
Colours are not as vibrant as shown online. Very disappointed when I took apart my bed to put the rug under and discovered that the Rug is cut on an angle. Border is 3” wider at one end. Tried to send message to have someone call me since there’s no phone number for customer service. That was over a week ago and I haven’t heard back. Also not impressed with $80 duty charge that I had to pay at the door.
I love this rug. It is beautiful and looks great with my furniture. I also have two little Yorkies so being able to easily clean this rug is an extra bonus!!
